Wakesurfing has been a boutique sport for many years, due in no small part to our founder, Jerry Price, and we have always been dedicated not only to existing riders, but also to growing the sport. More and more riders are expanding their horizons and discovering the thrill of wakesurfing (which is actually the original forerunner of wakeboarding). Many advances have been made over the years, and we continue to pride ourselves on welcoming newcomers to the sport.

Wakesurfing, like surfing, is a physical and mental experience that can, and should, only be lived. Wakesurfing enables you to experience the legendary freedom of surfing and, like wakeboarding, this freedom can be experienced on lakes and rivers hundreds, even thousands, of miles away from the nearest ocean. So, if it is to be defined, we at ShredStixx want you to define it for yourself.
ShredStixx is the result of a continuing heritage. Since the early 1970’s the shaping of surfboards specifically for use behind a boat. During the course of four decades, we’ve refined our Stixx to provide you with absolutely the finest wakesurfing experience that can be had, period. While our roots may stem from the beaches of Southern California, and whether you are a tried and true wakeboarder, waterskier, or dad driving the boat, we are dedicated to bringing you ShredStixx wakesurfing so that you can Live the Dream of surfing, no matter where you live.
ShredStixx continues the tradition of bringing the craftsmanship of renowned shapers to our wakesurfing Stixx. While mass produced (or “pop-out”) boards have really cool graphics, and generally have big marketing budgets, pops-outs are often choppy and unforgiving. In addition to lacking our heritage, pop-outs lack the smooth fluidity, control, balance and stability of our Stixx.
California was the first continental state in the U.S. to truly adopt the sport of wakesurfing. ShredStixx now brings this heritage all across North America. Since our history is in California, we’ve kept that history by keeping our headquarters in California, though you might very well see our 1950’s ShredStixx Chevy Panel Van anywhere in North America, in our continuing effort to bring ShredStixx wakesurfing from coast to coast.
Sure, other boards are cheaper. But consider the fact that when you buy a cheap board, you’ll get a cheap board. Make sure you don’t buy something that just looks cool on your rack, but rides with the fluidity, balance, control and stability of a Stixx. That said, in an effort to keep our Stixx as affordable as possible, we only sell direct to you, thereby avoiding dealer markups and distribution costs. So, you’ll find our boards less expensive than a good wakeboard and bindings or a high performance waterski; we also think if you’ve already got those on your boat, that’s excellent, though we think you definitely need to add a Stixx as well.
We know that each and every ride is unqiue. So too is each rider. This doesn’t mean just height and weight, but how you want to ride. Do you want to carve well behind the boat with that “base of the wave” feeling? Do you want to shred in the curl, or take off the lip, ripping tighter and faster turns? Tired of only driving your boat while your kids have all the fun? Do you just want a smooth, graceful, stable ride so that you can enjoy a sport too? Have you hurt your knee skiing or wakeboarding and do you now want less impact than either waterskiing or wakeboarding? Perhaps you have difficulty waterskiing or wakeboarding (perhaps you can’t even stand up), and are looking for a sport that is easier to begin and enjoy, whether you are a novice or an expert.
